What are the health benefits of drinking hydrogen-rich water?
Molecular hydrogen is recognized as a gas with potential therapeutic effects. Research indicates benefits for various organs and potential therapeutic effects for over 170 disease models, highlighting the below properties.

How does the CellPower Hydrogen Water Bottle work?
The CellPower bottle utilizes an electrolysis process, which involves breaking down water into its elemental components (hydrogen gas and oxygen gas) using an electric current. When water is placed inside the bottle, it undergoes electrolysis when an electric current is passed through it, resulting in the separation of hydrogen and oxygen.
Molecular hydrogen gas is generated in the upper compartment and dissolves into the water to be consumed. In the lower compartment of the bottle, oxygen is generated and subsequently released, along with other byproducts through the base. This process enhances the water's molecular hydrogen concentration, potentially providing benefits.

How much molecular hydrogen should I consume?
The International Hydrogen Standards Association (IHSA) has established a recommended standard for consuming molecular hydrogen (H2). The standard establishes best practice based on dose, and not concentration (mass per unit volume) to achieve health benefits.
The IHSA standard is to consume a minimum of a 0.5 mg H2 dose per liter of water (0.5 mg/L or 0.5 ppm) per day. If a hydrogen water bottle generated 0.5 mg/L, then this would require drinking one (1) liter (33.814 fl oz.) within the day to achieve the 0.5 mg recommended standard.
The CellPower Hydrogen Water Bottle holds 320 mL (10.82 fl oz.) and generates 1.0-1.6 mg/L of H2. Therefore, consuming two bottles in one day would achieve a dose of 0.64 - 1.024 mg of H2 in the day, which provides a greater H2 dose than the minimum standard of at least 0.5 mg per day to achieve health benefits.
Total volume of water consumption is important for health and well-being. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends in general, a total water intake (from all beverages and food moisture) of 2.5 liters (84.535 fl oz.) for men and 2.0 liters (67.628 fl oz.) for women per day (with some people requiring differing amounts).
If you were to consume six bottles of CellPower Hydrogen Water per day, you would be consuming 1.92 liters (64.92 fl oz.), with 1.92 – 3.07 mg of H2, resulting in a greater consumption than the 0.5 mg of H2 set as the minimal dose by IHSA to achieve the lowest dose used in clinical studies that reported health benefits.

Step 1: Assemble Your New Bottle
Once you've familiarized yourself with the User Manual, assemble your CellPower Hydrogen Water Bottle as per the instructions provided in the User Manual and Online Videos. When you first open your box, you will notice the presence of distilled water in the base of your bottle - we added this during manufacturing which is required to maintain membrane hydration (you'll learn more about how important this is in the user manual).
Step 2: Charge Your Batteries
Ensure both batteries - in the base and the lid - have a full charge. We recommend to do this before first use. Included in the box with your Bottle is a Wireless Charging Pad and USB-A to USB-C cable. Connect the cable to your own USB-A charger at home - it's important to only use a 5 Volt - 2 Ampere (10W) charger [this may be written as 5V/2A - 10W on your charger].
Step 3: Complete an Activation Cycle
Before you start using your new bottle, it's important to perform an Activation Cycle. This process is required to prepare the membrane for optimal performance.
I. Bring distilled water to a boil, pour the hot water into the bottle and run the 9-minute cycle without placing the lid on the bottle (distilled water is recommended for Activation, but you may use any filtered water if distilled water is not available).
II. Once the Cycle is complete, discard the water and rinse with filtered or bottled water.
III. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
Note: Boiling water can be harmful if in contact with you - for your personal safety, please use caution when handling hot water!
During the Activation Cycle, you will observe the formation of multiple small bubbles in the water - this indicates that your hydrogen water bottle is becoming ready to deliver you the highest quality hydrogen rich water!

Your CellPower Hydrogen Water Bottle will calibrate and optimize the hydrogen production during the first two weeks of daily use - so use regularly, for optimizing your bottle, and your well-being!
Which Water to Choose?
Your water choice is not only important for your health and well-being - it's also important for your bottle!
Recommended Water
Must be filtered or bottled drinking water. If you know your water's composition, we recommend water with a pH <7 and TDS (total dissolved solids) <100 mg/L. Yes, you can use distilled water, reverse osmosis water, or even water from your home filtration system or device!
Acceptable Water
Any filtered or bottled drinking water outside the parameters mentioned above.
Not Allowed Water
Unfiltered tap water - not only can unfiltered tap water not be good for your well-being, but it is also not good enough quality for your bottle!
Using the Recommended Water is good for your health as well as your bottle - it helps ensure efficient hydrogen generation and prevents mineral buildup that can damage the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM).
Did You Know?
You can make hot beverages with your CellPower Hydrogen Water Bottle! Simply add boiling water to your bottle, run your choice of a 3 or 6 minute cycle, then pour the water into your cup or mug to prepare your beverage!
Bottle Maintenance
Proper maintenance is important for your bottle's performance and longevity. Besides, you wouldn't drink out of the same water glass all week, without washing it - would you!?
Once or twice per week, perform a Maintenance Cycle:
I. Bring distilled water to a boil - then pour the hot water into the bottle and add one (1) tablespoon of food-grade citric acid powder. (Like the initial Activation Cycle, distilled water is recommended for the Maintenance Cycle, however you may use any filtered water if distilled water is not available).
II. Run the 9-minute cycle without placing the lid on the bottle.
III. Once the cycle is complete, discard the produced water and rinse with filtered or bottled water.
Important Notes
- Do not put anything in the CellPower Bottle except filtered or bottled drinking water - never use unfiltered tap water. Using anything else other than filtered or bottled water will harm the bottle.
- Never put the bottle in the dishwasher.
- Never place the bottle in environments with extreme temperatures (e.g., sauna, refrigerator, freezer, etc.) and never submerge it in liquid or any other solution (remember, itʼs water-resistant but not waterproof!).
